Common questions

My tasks aren't syncing between devices

Speed syncs through your private iCloud account. Make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID and that iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud. Opening the app brings it up to date — sync runs automatically whenever Speed is active.

How do the AI features work?

Speed AI (the assistant, weekly planning, and voice capture) is optional and off by default. It uses your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, which you can add in Settings → AI. Your key is stored in your device's Keychain and requests go directly from your device to the provider — never through our servers.

What is Speed Mode?

Tap the Focus button and Speed shows one task at a time, full screen, with a timer. Complete it or skip to the next one. It's the fastest way to work through a list without deciding what to do next.

How do I restore a deleted task?

Deleted tasks are kept in the Trash for 14 days — open the drawer and tap Trash to restore them. On iOS you can also shake your device to undo your last action.

Does Speed have an account or subscription?

No account, no sign-up, no subscription. Your data lives in your iCloud and the app is free.
